More About Dr. Dan
Danel has always lived an active lifestyle, with a lifelong involvement in sport. This natural passion for movement and performance led him to pursue a career in chiropractic—a profession dedicated to optimising musculoskeletal health and helping people move and feel their best.
He competed successfully in swimming and volleyball and, interestingly, had never experienced chiropractic care himself before beginning his studies. During university, he initially struggled to fully appreciate the impact chiropractic could have on people’s lives—until a turning point changed everything. After sustaining a serious lower back injury while training in the gym, Danel was left in severe pain for several days. Seeking help, he visited a chiropractor, and following a short course of treatment, experienced significant relief. The results were transformative and cemented his belief in the power of chiropractic care.
In his final year at university, Danel worked part-time at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic as a Senior Student Clinician, treating patients of all ages. During this time, he consistently achieved excellent outcomes and developed a strong, patient-centred approach to care.
One patient shared her experience:
“I met Danel almost a year ago when I visited the Institute of Chiropractic in Trefforest, Wales. At the time, I was sixty-nine years old and had been living with pain in my back, hips, shoulder, and knee for a long time. I had become quite disillusioned with the medical profession and had almost given up hope of ever being mobile again.
Danel’s assessments were always very thorough, and his findings and treatments were clearly explained with an air of positivity. He treated me with the greatest respect and courtesy throughout my care. His treatment and advice were second to none, and he continually fine-tuned my exercise programme to suit my age and ability.
Today, I feel like a different woman. I am no longer in constant pain, I am stronger and more energised, and I have regained my mobility. I can climb stairs and live independently again. I owe him so much for his constant support throughout my treatment and rehabilitation.”

During this same year, Danel also worked as a sports chiropractor for a local rugby team, further expanding his hands-on experience in treating sports injuries.
After graduating from the University of South Wales with a Master of Chiropractic degree, Danel remained in Wales to complete an additional one-year postgraduate training programme with the Royal Collage of Chiropractors. During this time, he worked across two busy clinics in Cardiff and Bridgend, continuing to refine his clinical skills.
Following his postgraduate training, Danel and his family moved to Ireland. He has since been practising in clinics in Navan and Trim, where he continues to help patients improve their quality of life through personalised, evidence-based chiropractic care.
With extensive training and years of clinical experience, Dr. Dan has developed particular expertise in treating a wide range of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, shoulder pain, and a variety of limb complaints such as elbow, knee, hip, foot, and wrist pain.
His treatments include chiropractic adjustments using varying levels of force—from very gentle techniques such as the Activator method to hands-on manual adjustments. Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual, because, as Dr. Dan believes:
“Even though there may be similarities between patients, no two people are ever the same.”
